**Abuja, Nigeria** – In the wake of the recent Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, the Chika Chukwumerije Sports Foundation (CCSF), in collaboration with the French Embassy in Nigeria and the French Institute, will host a special workshop on Wednesday, September 25th. The workshop, titled “Inspire the Future,” will take place at the Springhall British School in FCT Abuja.
The event, which is part of a series of sporting activities organized by the French Embassy across Nigerian schools, aims to showcase the dynamism of the French delegation ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The workshop, focusing on “The Olympics, Taekwondo, and Self-Defense,” will be led by Olympic medalist and Team Nigeria captain, Chika Chukwumerije. Sixty students will participate in the event, which will feature sessions on self-defense training for girls, an introduction to Taekwondo, Olympic values, and Nigeria’s Taekwondo Olympic history.
The workshop will be based on the Paris 2024 Olympics theme of “Excellence, Respect and Friendship,” aiming to inspire and educate young participants on the values and spirit of the games.
