The much-anticipated Patna-Tatanagar Vande Bharat Express is set to begin its journey on September 18th, with ticket bookings now open. The high-speed train, offering a comfortable and modern travel experience, will cover the distance between the two cities in just 7 hours and 15 minutes.
The train will depart from Tatanagar at 5:30 AM and reach Patna Junction at 12:45 PM. On the return journey, it will leave Patna at 2:15 PM and arrive in Tatanagar at 9:30 PM. The train will make stops at several key locations along the route, including Chandid, Muri, Bokaro, Gomo, Parsnath, Koderma, and Gaya.
Ticket prices for the journey vary depending on the class chosen. A chair car ticket costs ₹1505, while an executive class ticket is priced at ₹2570.
The train, which features 8 coaches, will operate six days a week, except on Sundays.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inaugurated the train as a special service on Sunday.
The Vande Bharat Express is expected to revolutionize travel between Patna and Tatanagar, offering a faster and more convenient alternative to other modes of transportation.
