**West Palm Beach, FL** – A man with a history of criminal offenses and a known supporter of Ukraine was apprehended Sunday after allegedly attempting to assassinate former President Donald Trump while he was golfing at his resort in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The suspect, who remains unidentified, was found hiding in bushes near the resort’s perimeter with an AK-style rifle, two backpacks, a GoPro camera, and a scope. He was spotted by Secret Service personnel who fired upon him before he fled in a black Nissan SUV.
