Sun Sep 15 17:03:57 UTC 2024: ## 16Arlington Embraces the Light in Spring 2025 Collection

London, UK – 16Arlington designer Marco Capaldo has shed the darkness of his recent collections, embracing vibrant hues and a sense of joy in his spring 2025 offerings. The collection, presented at the Royal Academy, was a burst of sunshine, featuring shades of butter yellow, sherbet orange, and mint green.

Capaldo, inspired by Pedro Almodóvar’s “The Skin I Live In,” aimed to stimulate the senses with his use of light and color. This translated into suede chocolate trousers, silk cami tops, and fringing in vibrant shades of red and yellow.

The collection was a testament to Capaldo’s personal journey. Following the loss of his partner, Kikka Cavenati, in 2021, his designs had explored themes of grief and darkness. The spring 2025 collection represents a glimmer of hope and healing, with its lighthearted energy and joyful aesthetic.

“It just felt like I was suddenly facing the sun and it’s that type of energy that I suppose I’ve been yearning for a long time,” said Capaldo.

Beyond the vibrant colors, the collection showcased a layered approach, with sultry open shirts, peek-a-boo bralettes, and flowing skirts, reflecting a playful and seductive spirit.

16Arlington also debuted an expanded range of separates, including suede flat shoes, beaded miniskirts, and sleek denim jackets.

With a Boy George soundtrack and a collection bursting with life, Marco Capaldo has proven that 16Arlington is a brand that continues to evolve and captivate audiences with its unique vision.
