Despite being nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series for her role in Netflix’s “Griselda,” Sofia Vergara proved that glamour doesn’t have to break the bank. While she stunned in a bold Dolce & Gabbana gown and high-end jewelry, her eye makeup featured a budget-friendly touch: KISS Lash Couture Naked Drama in Taffeta, costing just $15.99.
Vergara’s makeup artist Sabrina Bedrani revealed that the actress opted for the drugstore false lashes and a $5 adhesive from the same brand. The rest of her look included SumaNurica serums and a Hair by Schwarzkopf hairstyle.
Despite her glamorous appearance, Vergara lost the award to Jodie Foster for her role in “True Detective: Night Country.” However, the “Modern Family” alum took the loss in stride, noting that it was an honor to be nominated for her first dramatic role, which was also her first acting in Spanish.
Vergara described the experience of working on “Griselda” as challenging, stating that it took a toll on her mental state. She found it exhausting compared to the joy of working on comedies.
