Lucknow, India – Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath led a chorus of birthday greetings for Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, celebrating his 74th birthday. Adityanath hailed Modi as the “world’s most popular leader” and prayed for his long life, highlighting his “tireless efforts” to improve the lives of 1.4 billion Indians.

In a lengthy tweet, Adityanath praised Modi’s “Nation First” ideology, his commitment to “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” (One India, Best India), and his guidance to the nation. He emphasized Modi’s focus on empowering the disadvantaged and credited him with propelling India towards becoming a global growth engine.

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya echoed Adityanath’s sentiments, highlighting Modi’s historic decisions including the construction of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple, the restoration of the Kashi Vishwanath Dham, and the abrogation of Article 370. Maurya lauded Modi’s commitment to social justice and his role in strengthening India’s global presence.

While the UP leadership showered praise, Opposition leader Om Prakash Rajbhar criticized Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation, calling it a “drama.”
