Winnipeg police are investigating a multi-vehicle collision that occurred on Osborne Street Saturday evening, sending several people to the hospital. The incident, which spanned several blocks between Woodward and Brandon avenues, involved at least two vehicles.
Officers cordoned off the scene with yellow tape, focusing on a damaged truck near the intersection of Osborne Street and Brandon Avenue, and an SUV near the entrance of a church. The SUV’s front end was heavily damaged, and the church’s entrance ramp and stairs sustained damage as well.
Local resident Bruce Huston reported hearing a “horrendous crash” and witnessing numerous police cars and ambulances arriving at the scene. While police have not released any information about the nature of the incident, the extent of the damage suggests a significant collision.
