Patna, October 1: Jan Suraj chief Prashant Kishor has pledged to immediately end the liquor ban in Bihar if his party comes to power. Speaking to ANI ahead of his party’s foundation day on October 2, Kishor stated, “There is no need for any special preparation for the 2nd. We have been preparing for the last two years… If the Jan Suraj government is formed, we will end the liquor ban within one hour.”
Kishor also took aim at both RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, stating that both leaders have “caused damage to Bihar”. He urged both to leave the state, criticizing their ongoing feud and its impact on the people.
Earlier, Kishor launched a scathing attack on Tejashwi Yadav, questioning his leadership abilities and educational qualifications. He criticized Yadav’s lack of formal education and his claim to understand Bihar’s development, stating that he doesn’t even know the difference between GDP and GDP growth.
Kishor challenged Yadav to prove himself beyond his familial ties to former Chief Minister Lalu Yadav. He argued that Yadav needs to demonstrate his capabilities through action if he wants to build a reputation beyond being “Lalu Yadav’s son.”
