**Bridgeport, CT -** Jane’s Addiction has cancelled their Sunday show in Bridgeport, Connecticut, after a physical altercation between frontman Perry Farrell and guitarist David Navarro during their Friday night performance in Boston.

The band took to Instagram on Saturday to apologize to their fans for the incident, stating, “We want to extend a heartfelt apology to our fans for the events that unfolded last night.” They confirmed that fans who purchased tickets for the Bridgeport show will be fully reimbursed.

Video footage circulating on social media shows Farrell, 65, shouting at Navarro, 57, before throwing a punch. Staff intervened, restraining Farrell and escorting him off the stage at Boston’s Leader Bank Pavilion.

The altercation abruptly ended the show, which was part of Jane’s Addiction’s reunion tour. The band, formed in Los Angeles in 1985, is currently touring the US and Canada after a decade-long hiatus.

While the band has apologized for the incident, it remains unclear whether the remaining dates on their tour will proceed as planned.

Jane’s Addiction has released four studio albums, including “Nothing’s Shocking” and “Ritual De Lo Habitual,” and are known for hit songs like “Been Caught Stealing” and “Strays.”

BBC News has reached out to the band for further comment.
