**LAS VEGAS** – Fighters competing at UFC 306, held at the Sphere on Saturday, earned a collective $239,500 in UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance pay. This new program, replacing the previous UFC Athlete Outfitting Policy, rewards fighters based on their participation in various promotional activities, including media appearances and adhering to the fighter code of conduct.

The program’s payouts are tiered based on fighters’ experience, with those competing in 1-3 UFC bouts earning $4,000 per appearance, escalating to $21,000 for fighters with 21 or more bouts. Champions and title challengers receive additional payments of $42,000 and $32,000 respectively.

The UFC 306 main event saw Merab Dvalishvili defeat Sean O’Malley, with the winners earning $32,000 and $42,000 respectively. Other notable payouts included Valentina Shevchenko ($32,000) and Alexa Grasso ($42,000) for their co-main event bout.

The UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance program is funded by Venum’s multi-year sponsorship with the UFC. In addition to appearance fees, fighters are also entitled to ongoing royalty payments of 20-30% on any UFC merchandise featuring their likeness.

This program represents a significant shift in fighter compensation, with the UFC aiming to provide more consistent and equitable financial benefits to its athletes.
