**Agartala, Tripura:** Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Sunday highlighted the critical role of engineers in driving the state’s development, urging them to embrace their responsibilities for advancing Tripura’s progress. Speaking at the Engineers’ Day 2024 celebrations, CM Saha lauded the contributions of engineers in transforming Tripura into a rapidly developing state.

“Our engineers are not only contributing in Tripura but also bringing glory to the country on a global scale,” he said, emphasizing the abundance of talent within the state. He also highlighted the government’s commitment to infrastructure development, noting that the recent budget allocated significant financial resources for this purpose.

CM Saha also mentioned the recent visit of two renowned cricketers to Tripura, who were surprised by the state’s beauty. He attributed this development to the efforts of engineers, stating, “From the airport to the city and to Tripura Sundari Temple, engineers have been instrumental in these developments.”

He further expressed confidence in Tripura’s engineers, stating that “with determination, much can be achieved” and that the government welcomes and supports engineers who are eager to contribute to the state’s growth.
