**Berlin, Germany:** At IFA 2024, UGREEN unveiled its new Revodok Thunderbolt 5 docking station, demonstrating the potential of the latest high-speed connectivity technology.
Thunderbolt 5 boasts a remarkable bandwidth of up to 80 Gbps, doubling the speed of Thunderbolt 4 and enabling seamless handling of dual 8K displays, large file transfers, and demanding applications like gaming and VR.
The Revodok, equipped with three Thunderbolt 5 ports, delivers this lightning-fast data transfer and can even boost to 120 Gbps when needed. Its versatility extends to supporting single 8K displays for Windows users and triple-display setups for Mac. With a total of 13 ports, including USB-C, USB-A, and HDMI, the Revodok caters to users with extensive connectivity needs.
Beyond its impressive speed, the docking station utilizes Thunderbolt 5’s ability to deliver 240W of power, enabling rapid charging for laptops and sufficient power to run demanding devices through a single cable.
While the Revodok showcases the potential of Thunderbolt 5, widespread adoption of the technology is still pending. Laptop manufacturers have yet to widely implement built-in Thunderbolt 5 ports, meaning users can’t fully leverage the benefits of this breakthrough technology.
However, UGREEN’s introduction of the Revodok and other products like the Nexode Power Bank and NASync series, demonstrates the growing momentum behind Thunderbolt 5. As more devices become equipped with the technology, users will witness a significant improvement in their data transfer, display output, and charging capabilities.
