Sun Sep 15 02:45:00 UTC 2024: ## Siddhant Chaturvedi Embraces the Pressure of His First Solo Lead Role in “Yudhra”

Mumbai, Sept 14: Siddhant Chaturvedi is set to take on his first solo lead role in the upcoming action thriller “Yudhra,” directed by Ravi Udyawar. The actor, known for his breakout role in “Gully Boy,” expressed both excitement and apprehension about the responsibility.

“I’ve always wanted to come into the cinemas,” Chaturvedi said, emphasizing his desire for the film to resonate with audiences. However, he acknowledged the pressure and fear that comes with being the sole lead, “There’s a bit of pressure and fear, which is part of the job. I’m sure this film will surprise people.”

“Yudhra,” originally planned for release after “Gully Boy,” faced delays due to the pandemic. The actor used this time to intensively train in Jiu-Jitsu, martial arts, kickboxing, and gymnastics, ensuring he was physically prepared for the action sequences. He also stayed dedicated to his fitness regimen, “I was working out for three to four hours every day. I self-trained myself… I was in the ‘Karate Kid’ zone.”

Chaturvedi’s confidence in the script and the support of producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani kept him motivated during the extended production period. He believed “nothing could go wrong” with “Don” producers backing the project.

“Yudhra” is a unique action film that combines romance and drama, showcasing Chaturvedi’s character as a man on a mission with anger issues. The film is slated for release in theaters on September 20th.

Alongside Chaturvedi, “Yudhra” features Malvika Mohanan, Raj Arjun, Ram Kapoor, and Gajraj Rao in pivotal roles.
