Sun Sep 15 11:45:00 UTC 2024: ## Arsenal Make Changes for Derby Day Clash with Tottenham

**London, England** – Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has made two changes to his starting lineup for today’s crucial North London derby against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Italian midfielder, Jorginho, will captain the side in the heart of midfield, replacing the suspended Declan Rice. Jorginho’s inclusion comes as Martin Ødegaard is ruled out due to an ankle injury sustained while on international duty with Norway.

The Gunners are also without defender Oleksandr Zinchenko, who is sidelined with a calf injury. Riccardo Calafiori also joins Zinchenko on the injury list, having also suffered a calf injury while representing Italy.

However, there is good news for Arsenal fans as Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus returns to the squad after a two-game absence. The striker will be joined on the bench by new signings Raheem Sterling and Neto.

Tottenham Hotspur have also made changes to their starting lineup for the derby. Dominic Solanke and Micky van de Ven are back from injury and will start, while Brennan Johnson also returns to the team. However, midfielder Yves Bissouma misses out after picking up an injury while playing for Mali. Richarlison remains unavailable for Spurs.

**The full starting lineups are:**

**Arsenal:** Raya, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Timber, Jorginho, Partey, Havertz, Saka, Martinelli, Trossard.

**Tottenham:** Vicario, Porro, van de Ven, Romero, Udogie, Kulusevski, Bentancur, Maddison, Johnson, Son, Solanke.
