Actor Sunny Kaushal, known for his role in the recently released Netflix film “Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba,” has opened up about his close off-screen bond with co-star Vikrant Massey.
Kaushal revealed that he sees his brother, Vicky Kaushal, in Massey, describing him as an “elder brother” figure. He even recalled a conversation with his father, action director Sham Kaushal, who had worked on Massey’s film “Mumbaikar.” Sunny shared, “Meeting him reminded me of you and Vicky.”
The actor believes their shared upbringing and similar backgrounds contribute to their strong bond. “Our upbringing, where we come from, matches a lot,” he explained.
In “Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba,” Kaushal plays Abhimanyu, a shy and self-effacing compounder who develops a crush on Rani, a woman who plays mind games with him. The film, released on Netflix on August 9th, explores the complexities of their relationship as Rani manipulates Abhimanyu.
