**New Delhi:** President of India extended her warm greetings to all citizens, especially the Muslim community, on the auspicious occasion of Milad-un-Nabi, the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad.
In her message, the President highlighted the Prophet’s teachings of love, brotherhood, equality, and harmony. She urged everyone to embrace the sacred teachings of the Quran and work towards building a peaceful society.
“Let us all strive to live by the values of compassion and service to humanity, as taught by Prophet Muhammad,” said the President.
Eid-e-Milad, a significant festival for Muslims, marks the birth of Prophet Muhammad, celebrated in the third month of the Islamic calendar, Rabi-ul-Awwal. This month holds immense historical importance as it is when the Prophet was born. Muslims commemorate this occasion with various celebrations and prayers.
