**Turin, Italy** – Juventus have announced the return of club legend Giorgio Chiellini, who will take on a new role as Head of Football Institutional Relations. The 40-year-old former defender, who retired from professional football last December, will be responsible for managing relations with other clubs in Serie A and across Europe, as well as national teams.
Chiellini, a true Juventus icon with 561 appearances across 17 seasons, will report directly to CEO Maurizio Scanavino. The club statement emphasized that Chiellini’s heart and values always remained with Juventus, even after his departure.
