**KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 15, 2024:** The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a reduction in petrol, diesel, and kerosene prices, effective immediately. This adjustment comes following a price decrease by the Indian Oil Corporation, from whom Nepal imports fuel.
Petrol prices have been slashed by Rs 4 per liter, while diesel and kerosene prices have dropped by Rs 5 per liter. The new prices vary based on location, with the first category including areas such as Charali, Biratnagar, Amlekhgunj, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj. The second category includes Surkhet and Dang, while the third category encompasses Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal.
The revised prices for petrol range from Rs 156.50 to Rs 159 per liter, while diesel and kerosene now cost between Rs 146.50 and Rs 149 per liter.
