The phone, previously launched globally in August, is positioned as a mid-range device, but packs features usually found in higher-end models.

The Edge 50 Neo boasts a 6.4-inch LTPO pOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring a smooth and vibrant viewing experience. It features a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, making it perfect for outdoor use and HDR10+ content consumption. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, further enhanced by a RAM Boost feature that adds 8GB of virtual RAM. It ships with Android 14 and a promise of five years of OS and security updates, providing users with long-term software support.

The camera system is a highlight, featuring a 50MP Sony LYTIA-700C sensor as the main camera alongside a 3x telephoto lens. AI features such as style sync, adaptive stabilisation, and 30x super zoom enhance the photography experience.

The phone supports Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6E, and 5G across 16 bands in India. A 4,310mAh battery with 68W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging keeps the device running.

Motorola has priced the Edge 50 Neo at ₹23,999 as part of a “festive special price”, offering a single 8GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration. The phone will be available through Motorola’s official website, Flipkart, and major retail stores, with an official open sale commencing on September 24.
