**New Delhi, India** – Motorola has launched its latest mid-range smartphone, the Edge 50 Neo, in India. This is the fifth phone in the Edge 50 series to be launched in the country, and it boasts a key feature: five years of major Android OS upgrades.

The Edge 50 Neo is priced at Rs 23,999 and comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. HDFC Bank credit card holders can avail a 10% discount, up to Rs 1,000. It’s available in four Pantone-certified colors – Nautical Blue, Latte, Grisaille, and Poinciana – all featuring a premium vegan leather finish.

The phone is an upgrade over its predecessor, the Edge 40 Neo, with a flatter display and edges, a new 10MP telephoto lens, and a brighter display reaching 3,000 nits. The five-year software update policy guarantees updates up to Android 19, a significant offering for this price range.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo also incorporates AI features like AI Style Sync for personalized wallpapers and AI Magic Canvas for generating images from text prompts.

The Edge 50 Neo faces stiff competition in the mid-range segment from brands like Vivo, Nothing, and OnePlus. The phone will be available for purchase exclusively through Flipkart starting September 16th at 7 pm.
