**HOUSTON, TX** – Alexis Nungaray, the mother of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray who was allegedly murdered by two illegal immigrants in June, has released a campaign ad accusing Democratic Texas Senate candidate Rep. Colin Allred of contributing to her daughter’s death.
The ad, shared exclusively with Fox News Digital, details the horrific circumstances of Jocelyn’s murder, highlighting the fact that her alleged killers, two Venezuelan nationals, had been released from detention under the Biden administration’s “catch and release” policy.
“Jocelyn was murdered by two illegal migrants, each released on the same days they were detained. Not even 30 days later, she was found down there in the bayou. She had no pants on. They bounded her feet, and they just left her, like nothing. All because of that policy, catch and release,” Nungaray states in the ad.
She directly blames Allred’s support of this policy for her daughter’s death, declaring, “And Colin Allred pushing that policy ultimately took my daughter’s life. Her going away from her graduation, her having kids. If Colin Allred is elected, my heart would break again. It really would. Allred didn’t kill my daughter, but his policies are why she’s dead.”
Allred has responded to Nungaray’s accusations by calling her daughter’s murder a tragedy and criticizing Sen. Ted Cruz for using the event for political gain.
Nungaray previously testified before the House Judiciary Committee, blaming the Biden-Harris administration’s open border policies for her daughter’s death. She stated that the alleged killers were enrolled in the Alternatives to Detention program, which allowed for their release into the United States just weeks before they allegedly murdered Jocelyn.
The ad released by the Win It Back PAC, a Club for Growth-affiliated fundraising group, aims to highlight the human cost of the ongoing migrant crisis and influence voters in the upcoming Texas Senate race.
