Sun Sep 15 03:11:11 UTC 2024: ## Perth Family Desperately Searching for Missing Cockapoo, Molly

A Perth family is pleading for the public’s help in finding their beloved cockapoo, Molly, who has been missing for six days. Molly, a two-year-old cream-coloured dog, bolted from her carer’s home in Carine last Tuesday and was last seen running along Duffy Road towards Reid Highway.

Natalie Burtenshaw, who was dog-sitting for her parents, has launched a social media campaign to find Molly, offering a $1,000 reward for her safe return. A dedicated Facebook page, “Missing Molly,” has been created to share updates and potential sightings, garnering over 100 followers in just a few days.

“We believe Molly is looking for her parents, so it’s possible she’s been found by an older person who she warmed up to,” said Ms. Burtenshaw. There have been reports of Molly being spotted near Duffy Road, suggesting she is moving between the park and nearby houses.

Ms. Burtenshaw urges residents in the area to check their gardens and garages, and to leave food or water on their lawns for Molly. “We’ve been advised not to call her name as it could scare her further,” she added.

Ms. Burtenshaw has been overwhelmed by the support from the community. “We’re blown away by the care and love we’ve received from people we don’t know,” she said.

Anyone with information regarding Molly’s whereabouts is urged to contact Ms. Burtenshaw on 0459 716 883 or through the “Missing Molly” Facebook page.
