Gilbert will portray a character named Georgie McGill, who shares a surprising past with a Hope Valley resident. This unexpected connection likely stemmed from the relationship between “When Calls the Heart” executive producer Michael Landon Jr. and his father, Michael Landon, who played Pa Ingalls on “Little House on the Prairie.”
