**Shillong, Meghalaya (September 15, 2024):** West Jaintia District Sports Association (WJDSA) has cemented their position at the top of Zone B in the Meghalaya Youth League 2024, securing both the U-14 and U-16 category leads.
In a series of matches played on Saturday, WJDSA displayed their dominance, defeating Amlarem Block Sports Association 4-0 in the U-14 category, with Kaisarmi Dkhar scoring another hat-trick. They followed this with a 1-1 draw in the U-16 match.
WJDSA currently holds a commanding lead in both age groups, boasting 21 points in the U-14 category compared to Amlarem’s 13, and 17 points in the U-16s against Amlarem’s 11.
Other noteworthy results from Saturday’s matches include:
* **Zone C:** Ri-Bhoi District Sports Association showcased their strength, winning both their U-14 and U-16 matches against Sohra Sports Association by a significant margin (5-0 and 10-0 respectively). Iaisynroplang Syiemlieh and Me-u-ba-ai Sumer each scored hat-tricks in their respective matches.
