Jones, known for his turbulent past, was photographed with Garcia, who has been involved in several scandals this year, including racist social media posts and an arrest for felony vandalism. This interaction sparked concern from UFC CEO Dana White, who admitted he was “slightly nervous” about the pairing.

“I hope that’s not true,” White said at the UFC 306 post-fight press conference. “Jon Jones is running loose and wild here tonight in Las Vegas. So let’s hope…Hunter [Campbell, UFC matchmaker], you babysitting him tonight?”
