Sun Sep 15 15:42:22 UTC 2024: ## “90210” Reboot Left Some Cast Members Feeling “Done”

**Daytona Beach, FL** – Jennie Garth, best known for her role as Kelly Taylor on the iconic TV show “Beverly Hills, 90210,” has revealed her biggest regret about her career: returning for the show’s reboot.

Speaking at the 90’s Con event over the weekend, Garth admitted she felt pressured to participate in the reimagining of the series, which ran from 2008 to 2013 on The CW. “I wish I hadn’t done it,” she said, adding that she felt obligated to accept the offer despite her misgivings.

Garth wasn’t alone in her disappointment. Fellow cast members Gabrielle Carteris and Brian Austin Green also expressed similar sentiments during the “Beverly Hills, 90210” panel. Carteris, who played Andrea Zuckerman in the original series, was “shocked” by the reboot, questioning its necessity after 10 years of the original show. Green, who portrayed David Silver, echoed this sentiment, stating, “We did 10 years of that show, and it’s like, OK, done.”

The 2019 series “BH90210” brought much of the original cast back together, but this time playing heightened versions of themselves. However, the series was overshadowed by the tragic passing of Luke Perry, who played Dylan McKay, and Shannen Doherty, who played Brenda Walsh, both in 2019.

During the 90’s Con panel, the cast members paid tribute to Doherty, who bravely shared her battle with cancer with the public. “She’s an amazing example for everyone of [how] she put her own challenges and her own health things aside,” said Green, praising her courage and transparency.

While the original “Beverly Hills, 90210” remains a beloved classic, the subsequent reboots have left a bittersweet taste for some of the cast members. Their candid reflections highlight the complex legacy of the show and the evolving relationships between the actors and their iconic characters.
