**Tel Aviv, Israel** – The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) closed lower on Sunday, with the TA 35 index dropping 0.32%. The decline was driven by losses in the Banking, Financials, and Real Estate sectors.

Despite the overall downturn, some stocks performed well. **Ormat Technologies** saw the biggest gain, rising 2.23% to close at 28,000.00. **Energean Oil & Gas** and **Elbit Systems** also saw positive performances, increasing by 1.57% and 0.85%, respectively.

However, several stocks experienced significant losses. **Shapir Engineering Industry** suffered the biggest decline, dropping 2.21% to close at 2,032.00. **Azrieli Group** and **Electra** also closed lower, falling 1.63% and 1.54%, respectively.

Overall, the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange saw more stocks decline than advance, with 235 falling, 196 rising, and 108 remaining unchanged.

In global commodity markets, crude oil prices rose slightly while Brent oil prices fell. Gold prices increased, trading at $2,606.20 a troy ounce. The US Dollar Index Futures also saw a decline.

The Israeli Shekel weakened against both the US Dollar and the Euro. USD/ILS fell by 0.27% to 3.71, while EUR/ILS dropped by 0.24% to 4.11.
