**CUPERTINO, CA** – Apple is rolling out significant software updates for its entire ecosystem, bringing new features and design enhancements to iPhones, iPads, Macs and Apple Watches.
These updates, announced at the company’s June developer conference, are set to be available for download starting Monday evening.
**iOS 18, iPadOS 18, watchOS 11 and macOS Sequoia** deliver a range of exciting additions, including:

* **Upgraded Photos App:** The Photos app boasts a new look with larger featured photos and carousels. It automatically creates collections based on topics like trips or people, allowing for personalized organization.
* **Improved Messages:** Apple finally introduces RCS support for enhanced texting with Android users, along with the ability to schedule messages for later delivery.
* **Advanced Notes:** The Notes app gets a major upgrade with audio recording and live transcription capabilities, making note-taking more interactive. It can now also solve math expressions and calculations.
**New Features for Specific Devices:**
* **iPad:** The iPad gets a dedicated calculator app that can perform calculations from handwritten expressions. The Notes app gains handwriting capabilities, allowing users to smooth out writing, correct spelling and paste text as handwritten copy.
* **Apple Watch:** watchOS 11 introduces new watch faces, including Photos Face, Flux Face, and Reflections Face. The new Vitals app provides a comprehensive view of overnight health data, including heart rate, respiratory rate and blood oxygen levels.

Apple’s AI features, including writing and language tools, are expected to be available in beta starting in October in the US and December in the UK.
