**Torrevieja, Spain** – The Torrevieja Health Department has announced a significant investment in new medical equipment, with two contracts totaling almost €100,000 awarded for the replacement of stretchers at both Torrevieja Hospital and its associated health centers.

The tender, split into two lots, includes a substantial investment of €52,610.80 for the hospital itself, covering the purchase of 10 electric examination tables, 14 hydraulic stretchers, and four transport stretchers for the Emergency Department. These items are expected to be delivered within two months of the contract award.

The second lot, dedicated to health centers and clinics, involves an investment of €38,284.40. This purchase will include five fixed examination tables, three for Pediatrics, 21 hydraulic examination tables, one electric table, and one transport table for the Emergency Department.

Both contracts include comprehensive maintenance for the supplied equipment, covering both legal and commercial guarantee periods. This ensures the long-term functionality and reliability of these essential medical tools.
