Slashdot, the popular technology news website, is encouraging users to become fans of their Facebook page. The website’s “Fine Print” disclaimer reminds users that comments are the responsibility of the poster and that the website is not responsible for their content.
In addition to the standard disclaimer, a user named Klipstein left a comment, “A fail-safe circuit will destroy others,” which is cryptic and seemingly unrelated to the Facebook announcement. It’s unclear what the user meant by this comment, but it has sparked some discussion amongst Slashdot readers.
