Las Vegas, NV – In honor of Mexican Independence Day, a unique film experience, “Echoes of Warriors Past,” premiered at the Sphere in Las Vegas on September 14th. This extraordinary event, presented as part of UFC 306: O’Malley vs Dvalishvili, showcased the rich history, culture, and future of Mexico through a captivating six-chapter film.
Narrated by renowned actor Gael García Bernal (“Y tu Mamá También,” “The Motorcycle Diaries”) and featuring a score by composer Germaine Franco (“Coco,” “Encanto”), the film was a collaborative effort between visionary filmmakers. Carlos López Estrada, Anna Mokskowitz, and Chris Kartzmark wrote the script, while Estrada served as creative director.
The film, produced by Valerie Bush for Antigravity Academy and co-produced by Emmy Award-winning Nexus Studios, offered a diverse perspective on Mexico’s journey, from its earliest civilizations to its modern-day achievements.
Each chapter of the film was directed by a different artist, each bringing their unique style and vision to the project:

* **Diego Huacuja** of BASA, inspired by the great Mexican muralists, depicted the epic struggle for Mexican independence, highlighting the 11 years of fight for freedom.
* **Shynola** of Nexus Studios crafted the film for the unique immersive experience of the Sphere, using its expansive screen to showcase the iconic figures and events that shaped Mexican identity.
