**September 15, 2024** – Hard rock and power metal heavyweights Firewind have dropped a brand new music video for their cover of the 80s pop rock classic “Talking in Your Sleep” by The Romantics, just as their European tour with Sonata Arctica, Serious Black, and Tungsten gets underway.

The band, fronted by iconic guitarist Gus G, recorded the cover during their “Stand United” album sessions, marking their first cover release in a while. “We all love the classic gem ‘Talking in Your Sleep’ by the Romantics and agreed unanimously to go for it,” says Gus. “We gave it the Firewind treatment of course and it sounds a bit heavier now!”

The music video features road footage from the first leg of Firewind’s world tour, captured during their shows in the US and Japan earlier this year.

“We hope you enjoy [the video] and hopefully you’ll catch us on tour,” says Gus, hinting that these shows will be the last in support of their “Stand United” album cycle.

Fans can catch Firewind on their European tour dates, followed by a tour alongside label mates Masterplan in December.
