**Enugu, Nigeria -** The Governor of Enugu State, Peter Mbah, has issued a stern warning to criminals in the state following the brutal murder of the Chairman of the Ogbete Main Market Traders Association (OMMAT), Stephen Aniagu. Aniagu was shot dead by unknown gunmen on Saturday evening in the outskirts of Enugu.
In a statement released on Sunday, Governor Mbah expressed his deep sorrow over the killing, describing it as a “heinous crime” and a loss not only to OMMATA but to the entire state.
