Sun Sep 15 16:23:29 UTC 2024: ## Eagles Star A.J. Brown Ruled Out for Monday Night’s Game Against Falcons

**PHILADELPHIA** – The Philadelphia Eagles will be without star wide receiver A.J. Brown for Monday night’s game against the Atlanta Falcons. Brown was ruled out Sunday after experiencing hamstring tightness in practice earlier in the week.

Brown, who has been a key component of the Eagles’ offense since being acquired from the Tennessee Titans in 2022, had a strong start to the 2024 season, recording 119 yards and a touchdown in Week 1’s win over the Green Bay Packers. His absence leaves a significant void in the Eagles’ receiving corps.

In Brown’s absence, the Eagles will look to Jahan Dotson, who was acquired in late August from the Washington Commanders, to step up. Dotson has been learning the Eagles’ offensive system and played 32 snaps in the season opener against Green Bay, but did not record any receptions. “He has worked his butt off,” said Eagles coach Nick Sirianni. “He’s obviously a very talented player.”

Another option for the Eagles, rookie Johnny Wilson, is questionable for the Falcons game due to a hamstring injury.

With Brown out, quarterback Jalen Hurts will primarily look to DeVonta Smith, who had seven catches for 84 yards in the season opener.
