Sun Sep 15 15:45:49 UTC 2024: ## Everton Boss Dyche Safe Despite Winless Start

Everton manager Sean Dyche remains in the job despite a disastrous start to the season which sees the Toffees winless and at the bottom of the Premier League table. According to club sources, the 53-year-old manager has earned the trust of the club hierarchy after steering them away from relegation during his 20 months in charge.

The Merseyside club lost their opening four games of the season for the first time in 66 years, including a 3-2 defeat to Aston Villa on Saturday. Despite the poor form, Dyche retains the confidence of the club’s leadership, with his contract at Goodison Park set to expire in the next year.

Everton is currently amidst a potential takeover by American businessman John Textor, with the deal potentially affecting Dyche’s future. Textor has been granted exclusivity to purchase majority ownership from current owner Farhad Moshiri, but the deal hinges on Textor selling his 45% stake in Crystal Palace, as Premier League regulations forbid individuals from owning more than one club.

Textor has reportedly received two bids for his Palace stake and has a deadline of November 30th to complete the deal with Moshiri. The outcome of the takeover remains uncertain, and will ultimately determine Dyche’s long-term future at Everton.
