Sat Sep 14 19:35:00 UTC 2024: ## Delhi CM Kejriwal to Continue Working Despite Bail Conditions, Says AAP

**New Delhi, Sept. 14:** The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday asserted that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will continue to function as usual despite the bail conditions imposed by the Supreme Court in a corruption case. The court, while granting bail to Kejriwal, prohibited him from visiting his office, the Delhi Secretariat, and signing official files without the Lieutenant Governor’s approval.

AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, at a press conference, dismissed BJP claims that Kejriwal’s ability to work is hampered. He stated that the Chief Minister does not hold a portfolio and ministers handle their respective departments, with Kejriwal only signing files requiring the Lieutenant Governor’s approval. “The Supreme Court has not stopped him from signing files going to the LG for his approval,” said Singh.

He asserted that the Delhi government and the Chief Minister will continue to function, ensuring that people’s work will not be affected. Singh also criticized Union Home Minister Amit Shah, demanding his resignation for sending Kejriwal to jail in a “fake” case.

The BJP has demanded Kejriwal’s resignation, claiming he cannot function effectively due to the bail conditions. However, the AAP maintains that the Chief Minister will continue his work, particularly in the health, education, water, and power sectors, where significant progress has been made under his leadership.
