Two science fiction classics by renowned author Robert A. Heinlein, “Assignment in Eternity” and “Beyond This Horizon,” were reissued by Signet Books in 1964, giving readers a fresh look at the author’s iconic works.
The cover designs of both books feature distinctive typographical elements. “Assignment in Eternity” boasts a title set in large lowercase Inserat-Grotesk, with each word taking its own line, and the synopsis encased by the title in News Gothic. The author’s name is presented in a unique fashion, rotated and set in Ludlow’s Stencil. “Beyond This Horizon,” meanwhile, features cover art by Sandy Kossin.
