Sun Sep 15 11:51:00 UTC 2024: ## Love is in the Air at the 2024 Emmys: Celebrity Couples Steal the Show

While the 2024 Emmys, hosted by the dynamic duo Dan and Eugene Levy, will see some of the biggest names in television compete for awards, the ceremony also saw plenty of love on display. Couples like Jodie Foster and wife Alexandra Hedison, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and husband Justin Mikita, and Niecy Nash-Betts and Jessica Betts brought the romance to the red carpet at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Liza Colón-Zayas, nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress for her role in “The Bear,” dazzled in a sparkly green Christian Siriano gown alongside her husband of over 25 years, David Zayas. Meanwhile, Eugene Levy, who has been married to Deborah Divine for nearly 50 years, opted to pose with his son and cohost, Dan Levy.

The Emmys are a night of celebration for the best in television, and the nominated shows are no exception. FX’s “Shogun” leads the pack with 25 nominations, followed closely by Netflix’s final season of “The Crown” with 18 nods. “The Bear” made history by earning 23 nominations, surpassing the previous record for comedy series nominations set by “30 Rock.”

The award-winning night also sees the recognition of on-screen romance. While Meryl Streep and Martin Short have always maintained their on-screen relationship was purely platonic, their performance in “Only Murders in the Building” earned them nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress and Outstanding Lead Actor, respectively.

The 2024 Emmys is a night to remember for both the incredible talent nominated and the love shared between the stars. Who will take home the coveted Emmy awards? The world will be watching!
