**Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala** – Apple is set to release its latest iOS 18 update for iPhones on September 16th, bringing a plethora of new features, including enhanced customization options and a new control center design.

The highlight of iOS 18 is the integration of generative AI, dubbed “Apple Intelligence.” These features, which will allow users to create images, generate text, and handle email and messaging, will not be available in the initial release. Apple has confirmed that these features will be rolled out in a later OS update, anticipated to be the iOS 18.1 public beta in October.

This can be achieved by deleting unnecessary apps, limiting storage for applications like WhatsApp and Instagram, and backing up photos to cloud storage. While the exact time of the release is yet to be confirmed, based on previous years’ trends, users in India can expect to download the update around 10:30 PM on September 16th. The update will also be pre-installed on the new iPhone 16 models.
