**Culloden, Inverness -** A police pursuit ended in a serious crash on Barn Church Road in Culloden, leaving two people hospitalized. The incident occurred around 6:30pm on Friday, September 13, when police officers spotted a white Mercedes EQB driving at high speed. After the vehicle failed to stop, a short pursuit ensued before it collided with two other vehicles on Barn Church Road.

The impact of the crash left two vehicles overturned, with a 43-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman sustaining injuries. Both were transported to Raigmore Hospital for treatment and remain under observation.

Following the incident, a 20-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the crash. He is expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Monday, September 16, to face road traffic offenses.

Barn Church Road was closed for several hours following the collision to allow for emergency services to attend the scene and investigate the crash.
