**Austin, MN** – The Austin Police Department reported a busy day on Thursday, September 13, responding to a variety of incidents including a stolen vehicle, multiple arrests, and reports of theft.
A vehicle was reported stolen from 1022 S. Newton Ave. sometime between 8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday. Police also arrested Donald Lewis Fort, 40, for an unspecified reason after receiving a report of a suspicious person at 79464 113th St. in Glenville.
Ethyn Joseph Tindal, 22, was arrested on a Mower County sign and release warrant at 411 S. Broadway.
In other incidents, police responded to a report of an individual who was attacked in his garage and taken to the emergency room. A juvenile was cited for fifth-degree possession at 2000 Tiger Lane, while another juvenile was cited for possession of an e-cigarette on school property at the same location.
A report of theft by fraud was received at 1902 E. Main St., where someone was reportedly using a stolen credit card to purchase parts. Additionally, packages were reported stolen from 800 S. Fourth Ave. S.
Finally, Daniel Edward Shaw, 37, was arrested for an order for protection violation at 202 Charlotte Ave.
The Austin Police Department is continuing to investigate these incidents.
