**Mets Dominate Phillies in Philadelphia:**
In a dominant performance at Citizens Bank Park, the New York Mets defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 11-3, securing their 12th win in 14 games.
Francisco Alvarez and Brandon Nimmo both launched three-run home runs in the fifth inning against Phillies pitcher Aaron Nola. Harrison Bader added another three-run homer in the eighth, while Pete Alonso hit a solo shot in the ninth.
The Mets’ pitching staff, led by Jose Quintana’s seven shutout innings, held the Phillies to just three hits. The victory pulled the Mets closer to the Phillies in the NL East standings, who remain in first place by a seven-game margin.
