**New Delhi, September 10, 2023:** Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah celebrated Hindi Diwas on Saturday, highlighting the importance of Hindi as a unifying force in India. He emphasized that Hindi is not in competition with any other local language, but rather a friend that strengthens them all.

Shah emphasized the significance of the day, marking the 75th anniversary of Hindi being adopted as India’s official language.
