**Yankton, SD** – High school football teams across the region dominated their opponents in Week Three, with several teams showcasing impressive offensive and defensive performances.
**Freeman-Marion-Freeman Academy** secured a decisive 68-40 victory over Gayville-Volin, thanks to a stellar performance by Riley Tschetter, who threw for 285 yards and four touchdowns, while also rushing for 51 yards and another score. Dominic Sperling also had a strong outing, with two rushing touchdowns and two receiving touchdowns. The Phoenix will face Alcester-Hudson in their home game on Sept. 20.
**Crofton Warriors** emerged victorious over Plainview Pirates, 42-34, with a combined 303 rushing yards and four touchdowns from Wyatt Tramp and Jace Panning. Tramp also led the defensive effort with 12 tackles, solidifying their 2-1 record. The Warriors will travel to Bloomfield next Friday for their Week Four matchup.
**Viborg-Hurley** dominated Alcester-Hudson with a score of 48-38, led by Brady Schroedermeier who contributed to seven touchdowns. Schroedermeier rushed for 213 yards and five touchdowns and added 145 passing yards with two touchdowns. The Cougars will be off until their home game against Garretson on Sept. 27.
**Bon Homme** defeated Gregory 28-8, with Major Aarstad leading the charge with 226 rushing yards and three touchdowns. The Cavaliers will face Kimball-White Lake on Sept. 20.
**Winner**, the top-ranked team in Class 11B, defeated second-ranked Elk Point-Jefferson 18-8, securing a 3-0 record. Karson Keiser had a 62-yard touchdown catch, and Eli Vobr and Zac Olson each rushed for scores. The Warriors will host Woonsocket-Wessington Springs-Sanborn Central on Sept. 20.
**Parkston** remained undefeated with a 34-9 win over Hanson. Kolter Kramer led the Trojans with 125 rushing yards and two touchdowns. The Trojans will face Bon Homme on Sept. 27.
**Avon** celebrated their homecoming with a 54-20 victory over Corsica-Stickney. Aziah Meyer led the Pirates with 160 rushing yards and four touchdowns, along with an 82-yard kick return. The Pirates will travel to Colome next Friday.
**Creighton** dominated Randolph with a 66-12 win, scoring 38 points in the first quarter. Robinson Ladeaux had a strong performance with 87 rushing yards and three touchdowns, and added a touchdown catch. Creighton will face O’Neill St. Mary’s on Sept. 20.
**Tri County Northeast** rallied in the fourth quarter to defeat Laurel-Concord-Coleridge 36-16. The Titans will host Pender on Sept. 20.
