Fri Sep 13 21:35:58 UTC 2024: ## Fashion for a Cause: Catwalk Furbaby Returns to New York Fashion Week

**New York, NY – September 13, 2024** – The second annual Catwalk Furbaby, a unique fashion event that combines runway glamour with philanthropy, returned to New York Fashion Week on September 5th at Sony Hall.

The event saw esteemed designers and top models paired with adorable dogs, showcasing designer brands like Tommy Hilfiger and Nicole Miller. This year, Catwalk Furbaby highlighted four key impact categories: women, children, service animals, and the environment.

A total of 21 models, along with their furry companions, participated in the show, representing different non-profit organizations. Funds raised throughout the evening went directly to these organizations, demonstrating the power of fashion to make a tangible difference in the lives of animals across the country.

The evening’s highlights included the awarding of three prizes: the Judges’ Award, the People’s Choice Award, and the Publisher’s Award. The distinguished celebrity judging panel, comprised of philanthropist Consuelo Vanderbilt, supermodel Carol Alt Honduran, and chocolatier Maribel Lieberman, awarded the Judges’ Award to Nicole Miller, who partnered with NYC Second Chance Rescue, a foster-based non-profit dedicated to saving animals in need.

The People’s Choice Award, determined by audience donations, went to Team Louisiana, including the Companion Animal Alliance and the clothing brand Queen of Sparkles. Team Texas, featuring Operation Kindness, a no-kill animal shelter, and designer Glenroy March, secured the Publisher’s Award, determined by ELYSIAN Magazine contributors.

Catwalk Furbaby proved to be a resounding success, offering attendees an unforgettable evening that celebrated the intersection of fashion, philanthropy, and animal welfare. ELYSIAN magazine, the event’s organizer, continues to champion the power of fashion to create positive impact.
