**STATE COLLEGE, PA** – The undefeated Penn State women’s volleyball team, currently ranked No. 3 in the nation, is set for a challenging weekend at the Penn State Invitational. The Nittany Lions, who have already defeated three ranked opponents, will face off against Duke, Princeton, and St. John’s in three matches over two days, starting Friday night.
The highlight of the weekend will be Friday’s 8:30 p.m. match against Duke, which will be televised on Fox Sports 1. This is the Nittany Lions’ fourth televised match in their first six games this season.
Penn State has a strong track record against non-conference opponents, winning nine straight matches dating back to last season, including a 3-2 victory over No. 9 Kentucky at the Kentucky Invitational.
Duke, who enters the weekend with a 3-3 record, is led offensively by Kerry Keefe and Rylie Kadel, who have combined for 149 kills. However, the Blue Devils will face a tough test against the high-powered Nittany Lions, who are known for their strong defense and offensive firepower.
