**New Delhi, September 14 (ANI):** Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was released from Tihar jail on Friday after the Supreme Court granted him bail in the Delhi excise policy case. Kejriwal, accompanied by his wife Sunita and party leaders Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh, offered prayers at the Hanuman temple in Connaught Place on Saturday.

The Supreme Court, while granting bail, imposed several restrictions on Kejriwal’s activities. He is required to submit a surety bond of Rs 10 lakh and must attend all court proceedings unless exempted. He is also barred from entering the CM office and signing official documents without the Lieutenant Governor’s approval.

Kejriwal’s lawyer, Rishikesh Kumar, confirmed these conditions, explaining that they are similar to those imposed during his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). He added that Kejriwal may have to apply for a modification of the conditions considering the restrictions imposed by the ED.

Kejriwal’s arrest in March and June by the ED and CBI, respectively, stemmed from investigations into alleged irregularities in the now-cancelled Delhi excise policy 2021-22. The Supreme Court’s decision to grant him bail marks a significant development in the ongoing case.
