**Skidmore, Missouri** – St. Oswald’s in-the-Fields Episcopal Church, a historic landmark in rural Skidmore, Missouri, will be celebrating its 126th Harvest Festival on Sunday, October 6th.
The festival will kick off with a special fall service at 11 a.m., presided over by the Rt. Rev. Diane M. Jardine Bruce, bishop provisional of West Missouri. Following the service, attendees are invited to enjoy a potluck dinner, with table service and drinks provided. Those attending are encouraged to bring a dish to share.
St. Oswald’s, modeled after the founding families’ home church in Grasmere, England, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992. The church has hosted Harvest Festivals since 1897, making this year’s celebration a truly momentous occasion.
The church is located in southeast Atchison County at 30996 X Ave. near Skidmore. All are welcome to attend this special event and enjoy the rich history and tradition of St. Oswald’s.
