## Bark in the Park Event to Benefit Summers County Humane Society

The Summers County Humane Society will host its annual “Bark in the Park” event on Saturday, September 28th, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Summers County Farmers Market. The event will feature activities for both humans and their furry friends, including:

* **Yoga:** A free yoga session with Lewisburg instructor Mary Vigueras will be held at 11:00 a.m. Participants are asked to arrive at 10:45 a.m. and bring a towel or yoga mat.
* **Henna Tattoos:** Henna tattoo artist Priyanka will offer designs for $10 to $200 depending on complexity.
* **Entertainment:** Singer/songwriter Steve Lilly will perform live acoustic music.
* **Food and Items for Purchase:** Various baked goods and other items will be available for sale.
* **Microchipping:** Animal Care & Welfare Partners (ACWP) will microchip dogs for $20.

Adoptable dogs and puppies will be present at the event looking for their forever homes.
