**Canberra, ACT:** The stage is set for an exciting AFL Canberra Grand Final weekend at Football Park, Phillip, with the Queanbeyan Tigers and Eastlake Demons set to battle for the first grade premiership on Saturday.

The rivalry is alive and well, with the Tigers holding a 2-1 head-to-head advantage over the Demons this season. However, Eastlake stalwart Aaron Bruce, with nearly 300 first grade games under his belt, knows that “it all comes down to this one game.”

Both teams have shown their strength throughout the season, with Queanbeyan boasting a disciplined and talented squad, while Eastlake’s star player Angus Baker took home the coveted Mulrooney Medal. The Tigers will also be hoping to complete a double, with their women’s team already having secured a spot in the grand final after an undefeated season.

Captain Jayde Hamilton, leading the women’s team, expressed her excitement for the doubleheader, highlighting the strong bond within the club. “It would be amazing to get the double. We’ve done it before, but to do it in the club’s 100th year would be really special,” she said.

The day will kick off with the women’s second grade final between Ainslie and Queanbeyan at 9:00 AM, followed by the women’s first grade grand final at 11:15 AM. The men’s second grade grand final will see Eastlake face Ainslie at 1:35 PM, before the highly anticipated first grade clash between Queanbeyan and Eastlake at 3:55 PM.

With both teams vying for the title, the grand final promises to be a thrilling spectacle for all AFL fans in Canberra.
